Suzie Steel specialises in Contortion Hand Balancing, notably involving a spinning cane. She has also trained and performed in other disciplines such as Risley, as the flyer, Korean Plank and Tumbling Aerial hoop. Suzie has also studied Ballet, Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance. Most recently Suzie has been working for Flamingo Land theme park on a brand new production show performing as a solo and ensemble member of the cast. Suzie has been performing world wide including touring circus and Carnival Cruise Line P&O Pacific Dawn in an international team of six. Performing in both group and solo production shows created by Grayboy and Circcolombia focusing on Contortion handstands and aerial hoop all while developing new aerial and ground skills including juggling and adagio often to audiences of over 3000 per night. Suzie completed 3 years of study for her Bachelor of Arts at The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA), where she earned the nickname ‘Pigeon’ because she is small, strong and sparkly.
